Every year Apple launches a new smartphone along with a new operating system to run that coveted device. This year, to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the launch of the iPhone, the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning to launch three new iPhones which are believed to be termed as the iPhone X, as the symbol X denotes the number 10 according to the Roman numerology. The three new variants of the upcoming iPhone are all set to make their debut at the Steve Jobs Auditorium on 12th September. But before the inauguration of the new iPhones, Apple has unveiled the latest mobile operating system which will drive the upcoming iPhone. The new OS, which is termed as the iOS 11 has been unveiled by Apple during the World Wide Developer’s Conference 2017 tech event which was held in the first week of June.

The latest operating system features an upgraded Siri, an improved Apple Pay methods, better Apple Maps which will assist the users within the malls and the airports, a better driving mode, an all new ARKit to endorse augmented reality and better camera features, such as Picture-in-Picture mode. iOS 11 Compatibility List: For the iPhones
The previous installment of the Apple’s mobile operating system, the iOS 10 supports all the iPhones which fall under the iPhone 5 or above models. But the iOS 11 will be compatible with a different set of iPhones. The iOS 11 will only support the iPhone 5s or the above models. Not only that, the iPhone 5c, which was released way after the iPhone 5s will not be compatible with the brand new OS.
